Where does the art of storytelling fit into our technology-obsessed world? Well, Cincy Stories, an intriguing new quarterly storytelling event, has an answer. The people behind this exciting concept believe that stories have the transformative power to break down walls, build bridges, create community and that there simply isn’t enough storytelling in society today. Come together at MOTR Pub and listen to local cool people who do cool things tell cool stories. The first event features personal tales from the president of the OTR Community Council, Ryan Messer, City Council member Chris Seelbach and mixologist and entrepreneur Molly Wellmann. Be inspired, listen and share.

7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3. Free. MOTR Pub, 1345 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, facebook.com/cincystories513.
