Soak up the last few days of summer scoring deals and to-die-for pieces at Covedale Center for the Performing Arts’ 11th Annual Summer Arts and Crafts Fair. The outdoor crafts sale features jewelry, visual art, photography, ceramics, pottery, enamel-painted iron tiles and just about every type of art or craft a human could possibly think of. Using 60 local artists who keep the proceeds from the day, the fair is an excellent way to support others in the community. Outdoors rain or shine. Free. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday Aug. 18.
