Dining Out For Life is an annual dining event to raise funds for licensed AIDS service agencies in 60 cities across the nation. Started in 1991 by ActionAIDS in Philadelphia, today more than 3,000 restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds from one day; more than $4 million is raised each year, which goes directly to the agencies (minus a licensing fee). Cincinnati’s Dining Out For Life benefits Caracole, a nonprofit that provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS across Southwest Ohio.

Participating area restaurants include Arnold’s Bar & Grill (donating 25 percent); Below Zero Lounge (donating 100 percent); Blue Jay Restaurant (donating 25 percent); and more. Find a full list of participating restaurants and how much they’re donating online. diningoutforlife.com
