If you don’t yet call yourself a wino, you probably will after this. The Cincinnati-based production company Far-I-Rome and Uptown Consortium present the first ever Drink in Ludlow Wine Walk in Clifton — the challenge is being able to walk by the end of it (that’s probably an exaggeration, but still). Benefiting both customers and businesses, the event is an opportunity for stores to show off their products and attendees to see all that the Gaslight District has to offer, meanwhile sampling complimentary wines and refreshments. Enjoy a fine merlot with the box fan you purchased at Ace Hardware, or a sparkling Riesling with the cheese coney you got at Skyline. A total of 15 stores will be participating in the walk and will be open from 6-8 p.m., followed by six live music performances at Arlin’s Bar and Ludlow Garage from 8-10 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 8. For more information, visit the Drink in Ludlow event page on Facebook or email [email protected] Free. Must be 21 to drink.
