The Krohn Conservatory presents a summer exhibit that showcases four new sustainable food production techniques. The show highlights the processes of aquaponics (cultivating plants in water with fish), aeroponics (growing plants in air without soil), hydroponics (growing plants in a mineral nutrient water solution) and vertical gardening (growing plants up instead of out), as well as a series of “how-to” lectures from local experts.

The Krohn Conservatory gift shop will also be selling many of the items gardeners will need to bring these revolutionary techniques into their own homes.

10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday through Aug. 25. $3 adults; $2 children. Krohn Conservatory, 1502 Eden Park Drive, Mount Adams, cincinnatiparks.com.
