With flight delays and cancellations piling up right along with Cincinnati’s snow and ice, heading down to the Big Easy is probably out of the question. Not to worry — there will be plenty of beads and feathers as Mardi Gras comes to Woodburn this weekend.

The businesses of historic East Walnut Hills invite you to experience the same enchantment of New Orleans as Woodburn transforms into Bourbon Street for one night only. Come experience the genuine NOLA sound of The Hot Magnolias, dance from the Forealism Tribe and get a taste of Mardi Gras as Kitchen 452 dishes out creole fare. Molly Wellman will concoct a signature punch to match the mood for adults as children enjoy face painting, mask making and more.

6-9 p.m. Friday. Free. 2500-2800 Woodburn Ave., East Walnut Hills, facebook.com/walkonwoodburn.
