Baklava, bouzouki and Pericles, oh my! Follow the smell of shouts of “Opa!” to this year’s Panegyri Greek Festival. Fill up on traditional Greek cuisine, from chili to souvlaki to gyros. If you’re a less brazen eater, grab some Skyline Chili, but for those looking to broaden their Greek taste buds, choose one of Yia Yia’s Mezethakia (“grandma’s appetizers”). Attendees wanting to avoid packing on the pounds after a hearty meal should take the floor for Greek dancing lessons provided by bouzouki dancers. But if you have two left feet, take advantage of the various stores in the agora, cultural exhibits or, better yet, cooking demonstrations. Through Sunday, June 24. 5-11 p.m. Friday; 3-11 p.m. Saturday; 1-8 p.m. Sunday. St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. 7000 Winton Road, Finneytown. Admission is $2 per person and free for children 12 and younger. Parking and shuttle rides are available at St. Xavier High School.
