Cincinnati has a lot of attractions: professional sports, museums, a zoo, great chili and one of the longest-running arts and crafts fairs in the country. For 45 years, local and national artists have come together to showcase their work. This year, more than 300 artists and craftspeople will come together with a wide variety of works including jewelry, sculpture and glass. To keep fair goers entertained there will be four stages for bands, dancing and theatre troupes. The kids aren’t forgotten, either. The Youth Arts Rocks! area will have hands-on activities, jugglers, magicians and puppets. To go along with the art, plenty of gourmet food and drink will be available. Proceeds from the fair will go toward local visual and performing arts organizations. Adults $10; kids 12 and under get in free. Thursday May 31 through Sunday June 3. Coney Island, 6201 Kellogg Ave., California. 513-531-0050, summerfair.org.
