Start summer off scrumptiously. The 35th annual Taste of Cincinnati will consume six blocks of Fifth Street on Memorial Day Weekend. The nation’s longest running culinary arts festival will feature eats from dozens of local signature restaurants in addition to continuous live entertainment. North Broadway transforms into Food Truck Alley; head over to try tantalizing cuisine from C’est Cheese, Mellow Mushroom and more. Christian Moerlein Brewing Company — the official beer of Taste — will create a Moerlein Beer Garden on Fountain Square. Grab brand-new styles and specialty craft beers like the Moerlein Original Golden Helles.

New to Taste? There’s an app for that (and it’s free!). Explore restaurants, food and entertainment with the Taste of Cincinnati application for iPhone and Android users. This cool little feature is perfect for newcomers and veterans alike; create an agenda for your day and have fun in the photo booth.

Noon-midnight Saturday-Sunday; noon-9 p.m. Monday. Free. Fifth Street (Race to Broadway streets), Downtown, tasteofcincinnati.com.
