If you can’t make it out to the Reds games this weekend, there is a rather tempting alternative for you to sink your teeth into. This annual food lover’s dream is Cincinnati’s way of welcoming summer. Prepare to gorge on close to 230 dishes from 45 of the region’s top-rated restaurants. The day won’t be all eating and walking around, though — there will be entertainment including comedians and various bands totaling over 70 acts. For the health-conscious, Cincinnati non-profit goVibrant will have signs posted on the food booths that meet the American Heart Association’s health standards. Samplers range from $2-$5, but the event is free. Six blocks of Fifth Street, between Race and Broadway streets, Downtown. Through Monday. www.tasteofcincinnati.com.
