The Bacchanalian Society is Cincinnati’s vino-focused young professional group that mixes and mingles social and professional networking with philanthropy in the name of Roman god Bacchus, the deity of wine and merriment. Their fall wine tasting invites the public — in teams of up to three people — to bring three bottles of the same brand and vintage of pinot noir to The Phoenix. Upon arrival, two bottles will be given to the host, who will conceal the wines’ identities in a numbered bag for tasting. Guests rate the mystery wines and the winner takes home the third bottle from every team. Proceeds benefit ProKids.

7 p.m. Thursday. $15. The Phoenix, 812 Race St., Downtown, bacchanaliansociety.com.
