Park(ing) Day, held the third Friday in September, is an open-source global event where citizens, artist and activists collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spacing into public spaces. Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and marketing firm PB&J have partnered to create The Sidewalk Project, a community-wide project where people can share their ideas, stories and opinions on Cincinnati’s sidewalks to improve their functionality, safety and quality. Share your candid sidewalk experiences online before the Park(ing) Day event.

4-7 p.m. Friday. Free. The parking space at 1417 Main St., Over-the-Rhine, thesidewalkproject.com.
