Travel, Sports & Boat Show

Fifty-seven years ago, Robert S. “Bob” Hart, Jr. went from being a General Electric worker to a freelance writer on hunting and fishing to the founder of what would eventually become the Cincinnati Travel, Sports & Boat Show. The show carries on with the help of Bob’s son, Bob III, who keeps the tradition of displaying the latest equipment and merch for campers, boaters and golfers alive. But that isn’t the only thing going on here; the show has a brand new section dedicated to more adventurous sports, including kayaking, rock climbing, winter sports, spelunking, hiking, zip lining and countless others. It’s a sure way to satisfy any adventurer.

Through Jan. 25. $12 adults; free for children younger than 12. Duke Energy Convention Center, 525 Elm St., Downtown, cincinnatiboatshow.com.
