The Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. It’s held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide and it’s coming to the Tristate Saturday. Alzheimer’s is the nation’s sixth leading cause of death, and the goal of the three-mile Cincinnati walk is to raise $500,000. You can help; registration is still available.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.; walk begins at 10 a.m. Saturday. Free, but every walker is asked to make a donation. Sawyer Point, 720 E. Pete Rose Way, Downtown, alz.org/cincinnati/index.asp.
