World's Longest Yard Sale

Stretching 690 miles from Michigan to Alabama, the 2013 World’s Longest Yard Sale is a colossal social and shopping extravaganza. Folks along the Highway 127 corridor set up shop in their front yards, welcoming visitors from all over the country to browse and buy unusual finds.

In addition to miles of merchandise, the sale is also an exchange of stories and cultures; discover unique histories of individuals and the items they sell as you traverse the country roads. The massive route is nearly impossible to cover in four days, luckily there’s a hub in MainStrasse Village with nearly 100 vendors.
