Events: A-Line Cocktail Class and Happy Hour

Every holiday party needs a delectable cocktail to accentuate the celebratory spirit. A-Line magazine, CityBeat's sister publication, hosts a free cocktail class at Japp's (1134 Main St., Over-the-Rhine) from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. This is the perfect opportunity for participants to learn how to make four holiday cocktails, including A-Line’s November cocktail, Cinnamon Orange Margarita from Molly Wellmann. Wellmann is a Cincinnati-based self-taught mixologist and bartender known for creating her own bitters, liqueurs, juices and simple syrups. Her stylish cocktails are inspired from recipes stemming from the 1700s through the 1950s. Find drinks that cater to all types of taste preferences and various holiday party themes. The class size is limited to 20 spots. If you are not able to find a spot in the class, Japp's will be serving the four cocktails at happy hour prices. Want to try the cocktails out at your own party? Free recipe cards for each drink will be available at the bar as well.
