Every year, the culmination of the CFF is the Awards Gala, 7 p.m. Friday night at Memorial Hall in Over-the-Rhine. Ohio native and comedian Steve Caminiti, who Showtime has called the "Funniest Person in Ohio," will host the event.
The Awards Ceremony and Gala features the presentation of more than a dozen CFF Jury and Audience Awards to selected filmmakers. And since 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of one of CFF's long-time partners, the Southern Ohio Filmmaker's Association will also be presenting a select number of awards during the event.
The gala is preceeded by an invitation-only awards reception event at 5 p.m. (also at the Hall) and followed by a public reception at Mainstay.
