For some of us, waking up the Sunday after monthly dance party/art installation/booze fest DANCE_MF means taking several ibuprofen and eating something that won’t taste that bad if we have to barf it up later. This week could be different, though, as the friendly folks over at PROJECTMILL are giving everyone a chance to feel good about themselves after a long night of sweaty, noisy fun. For just $1 (that’s less than 4 cents a day if you spread it out over the whole month) you can send a carnation to your relationship partner as part of the group’s United Carnations initiative, and the proceeds will be donated to the rehabilitation efforts in Haiti. With Valentine’s Day looming, this minimal investment could go a long way toward easing your partner’s disappointment when you refuse to go see Valentine’s Day in the theater on Valentine’s Day.
