Get a full surround-sound experience this summer at Drake Planetarium's infamous Laser Show Series. With geometric abstracts and synchronized music from Metallica, U2, Pink Floyd and The Beatles, this show will surely take you to the dark side of the moon and back. Families and children can also enjoy the humorous 3D animated show, “Legends of the Night Sky,” which features the myths and stories associated with constellations such as Andromeda, Orion and Perseus. This series runs Wednesdays and Fridays-Sundays through Aug. 9. Tickets are a mere $7 in advance, $8 at the door. Family packs of four tickets are available for $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
