If you're a seafood fanatic or one of those "vegetarians" who thinks fish doesn’t count as meat, you've got to check out this festival. Kicking off Thursday on the riverbanks in Newport, this seafood smorgasbord offers tasty bites from 15 local restaurants. Get your fill of crawfish, oysters, salmon and shrimp, and be sure to come early and try a Whole Maine Lobster — those bad boys usually sell out by Sunday. Don't feel like shelling out $10.95 for a lobster? You could still win a five-pounder at the 9 p.m. drawing each night. Accompanying all the fishy fare are some great tribute bands covering everything from Elton John to Johnny Cash to The Beatles. Talk about Rock Lobster!  Festival hours are 5-11 p.m. Thursday and Friday; noon-11 p.m. Saturday; and noon-9 p.m. Sunday. Free. Riverboat Row in Newport.
