So what if I told you that you could be taking a dip with Alex from A Clockwork Orange at a local pool party this Saturday? It could happen. The late night water resort party (celebrities may attend, but it’s not guaranteed) is just one small part of HorrorHound Weekend, the area’s largest horror movie festival.

Besides Malcolm McDowell, practically the entire cast of Re-Animator — with Jeffrey Combs, Dr. Herbert West himself — will be there with a rogues gallery of other silver screen icons including Linda Blair (The Exorcist), Meg Foster (Evil-Lyn of Masters of the Universe) and Billy Bryan (Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters). Arnold Schwarzenegger’s stunt double Peter Kent is on hand with tales of life as a fall guy.

HorrorHound takes place 4-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Afterparties start at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and the pool party is 10 p.m. Saturday. Film screenings run throughout the event. The Re-Animator Q&A session is 3:40 p.m. Saturday.

Admission is $20 per day or $45 for the weekend; Gold Pass is $100 and includes afterparties both nights; the pool party is $15 or included with Gold Pass admission. Crowne Plaza Hotel and CoCo Key Water Resort, 11320 Chester Road, Sharonville.
