Consider yourself a foodie? More importantly, love a good lager? Hudepohl has just the event for you. From 7-10 p.m. Thursday at City Cellars (908 Race St., Downtown), Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewing Co. will feature the new 125th anniversary lager and food from chef Josh Campbell of Mayberry. Beer lovers and foodies alike can sample the ale and enjoy Chef Campbell’s savory menu, including his Hudepohl Amber Lager Mustard Glazed Baby Back Ribs.
The lager is an amber color with a malty body, a touch of hops and low units of bitterness — a “premium experience for the domestic beer drinker whose looking to experience a more flavorful beer,” according to Hudy.
$15 gets you dinner and three beer tickets. Availability is limited; reservations can be made by calling City Cellars at 513-621-9463.
