Hollywood storyboard artist J. Todd Anderson will make an appearance at the Art Academy of Cincinnati to lecture about his work with the Coen Brothers, capping it off with a live storyboarding demonstration.

He has contributed to and been credited for the storyboarding of almost every Coen Brothers film, including Raising Arizona, Fargo, The Big Lebowski and most recently Burn After Reading. Anderson worked alongside the writers, producers and cinematographers for each of these films and can offer plenty of insight to those who plan on running away to join the Hollywood circus someday.

The Big Lebowski-themed reception begins at 5 p.m. Thursday, followed by Anderson’s presentation and demonstration from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Once he’s finished, the festivities continue with White Russians and In-N-Out Burgers until 9:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. Go here for event details.
