Come to MainStrasse Village to see over 250 cars along the Sixth Street Promenade for the eighth annual Mainstrasse Car Show. The show will have classics to modern cars and antiques to hot rods, all from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Awards will be given at 4 p.m. to the top 50 cars overall and to the top 40 pre-1980 and 10 post-1980 cars. Additional awards will be given in 10 Best-of categories. The first 100 cars will receive a dash plaque. Registration will be from 9 a.m. until noon. If you're not in it for the competition, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the hundreds of unique cars. The cars will be parked along the tree-lined streets and sidewalks of historical Goebel Park, just walking distance from the many shops, restaurants and taverns of the Mainstrasse Village, Sixth St., Covington.
