This successful urban summer festival is back for a second year to highlight the goods, people and culture that make up the OTR/Gateway Quarter. Complete with art, crafts, music, food and beer, the only thing missing is you! The party gets started at 10 a.m. with the Go OTR 5K run/walk, where participants can look at the changes taking place in the neighborhood while running (or walking) from a starting point at 12th and Vine streets. If you aren’t the racing type, the Gargantuan Gay Garage Sale also starts at 10 a.m. at 1214 Vine St. with proceeds benefiting Pride Cincinnati.
After that, there will be music from bands like Baoku Moses & The Image Afro Beat Band, Messerly & Ewing, Zumba, Daughters & Sons and Brian Olive; arts and crafts vendors like Visionaries & Voices, Atomic #10, Uniquely Upcycled, Dulcet Designs and, of course, the The Gateway Merchants (including The Little Mahatma, which is celebrating its 21st anniversary). And no street festival is complete without food and beer, so look for tasty meals from Café’ de Wheels, Enzo’s, Senor Roy’s Taco Truck, Taste of Belgium, Below Zero, Senate, LavOmatic and more, and wash it all down with some Christian Moerlein brews.
10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday. Get event details and find nearby bars and restaurants here.
