If Cincinnati chili is the closest you’ve ever come to satisfying your Big Fat Greek taste buds, then now is the time for you to expand your palette at this weekend's Panegyri Greek Festival.

Last year more than 100,000 people indulged themselves in the festival’s wide array of Greek delicacies including honey-coated Baklava, grilled Gyro sandwiches and melt-in-your-mouth Loukomades (Greek honey puffs). Once you’ve filled your belly, sit back and enjoy the bouzouki music as the Greek Folk Dancers perform in their colorful traditional regalia. Better yet, get outta that chair and take advantage of the free Greek dancing lessons.

Be sure to also check out local vendors, games and amusement rides all the while immersing yourself in the renowned Greek hospitality. Admission is $2, free for children 12 and under. Free parking at and shuttle rides from St. Xavier High School.

The festival is 5-11 p.m. Friday, 3-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Finneytown.
