Come out to the Park and Vine grand reopening celebration Friday from 6-10 p.m. (during the Final Friday Gallery Walk) at their new location on 1202 Main St. in Over-the-Rhine. What is Park and Vine, you ask? It's the General Store of the future, with a wide variety of eco-friendly merchandise that minimizes the use of natural resources and animal byproducts. Products include everything from reusable bottles to non-toxic cleaning supplies.
Since its opening in 2007, Park and Vine has encouraged locals to become more aware of the environmental impacts of their choices with a variety of events catered to the greenie in all of us.
Friday's event will include food from local vegan-friendly spots, drinks from Market Wine and jams by Josh Eagle and Liz Bowater. Angie Unger will unveil paintings and chandeliers using repurposed materials from Zero-Landfill Cincinnati. And Share Some Sugar will host a costume swap.
Eat, drink and jam to support ArtWorks Cincinnati, as 5 percent of the proceeds will go to the local arts organization. Go here for more event details.
