Publico’s about to be gone forever (for real this time), and the only thing you’ll have left are your memories — or the memories you wish you had because you happened to miss all five of the final events leading up to the closing of the gallery and the Publico 2003-2008 show. If you failed to attend any of these events, fear not: someone did … with a video camera. At 8 p.m. on Friday night, the Weston Art Gallery closes out the Since You’ve Been Gone: A Collection of New Works and Documentation Celebrating Five Years of Publico exhibit with the premiere film screening of Public All Over. This 55-minute documentary by Randy Gentile captures the final month of the gallery, highlighting those five final flings: Goodbye Publico Music, Goodbye Publico Poetry, Fade to Black, The Last Supper and Publico 2003-2008. You’ll see artwork, dancing, music, people working and people having fun. And it gives you one last chance to remember the good stuff, in case you were too drunk the first time around. Showing in the “Collapsible Kiosk.” 8 p.m. Get details and find nearby bars and restaurants here.
