Are you tired of all the whining aimed at Washington, D.C.? How about all the counterproductive yelling at government officials who only pay attention to the loudest and most annoying voices anyway?

If so, come hang out at Fountain Square on Saturday to catch the live feed of Jon Stewart’s Rally to Restore Sanity and Stephen Colbert’s March to Keep Fear Alive on the Jumbotron as they take over D.C. Sit back, relax, grab a beer and some lunch from Skyline and Senor Roy's Taco Patrol. Everyone needs a dose of sanity, especially amidst all the terrible campaign ads spamming your TV.

CityBeat and CincyPAC want to see you there. Or not. If you're busy, then that’s OK, but if you want to get together with a group of “normal, coherent individuals” this is an event you’ll want to attend.

CityBeat will be giving out the League of Women Voters' nonpartisan voting information packet and our candidate endorsement issue as well. And remember, this isn't a demonstration or debate — it's just a free, public event for “rational” people.

The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear watch party is noon-3 p.m. at Fountain Square, Fifth and Vine streets, Downtown. Go here for more information and to RSVP to our Facebook event.
