Ever watched Jurassic Park and thought that something was missing? Wanna create a new soundtrack for a Spielberg classic? Join Cincinnati native Chris Collins for REDUX, an improvised redubbing of JP. This fan-dub will occur in three 30-minute secessions, one each for sound effects, vocals and music. Make sure to bring your culture baggage and noisemakers this Saturday to CS13 gallery/event space in Over-the-Rhine. The doors open at 7 p.m. Immediately following the recordings, the re-dubbed film will be mixed and screened. This tribute, remix and individualized retelling will serve as a document for a culture that is not final but infinite.

If you just can’t get enough of the REDUX, Collins brings you REDUX REDUX, or Night 2 of the now Cincinnati-esque Jurassic Park, on Dec. 18 from 8-10 p.m. at the gallery. This event will serve as a release party for the remixed DVD. 1420 Main St., Over-the-Rhine.
