On Friday, the third annual Secret ArtWorks fund-raiser for the nonprofit ArtWorks organization, which connects students and emerging artists with opportunities to practice their craft, will occur from 6-9 p.m. in the ballroom of downtown's Westin Hotel.
Admission is $125, which includes the selection of one 5-by-7-inch work created by a secret, unidentified artist as well as complimentary beer and wine. Once the work is selected, the artist is revealed. In the past, such well-known artists as Mark Fox, Kim Krause and Tony Luensman have contributed work.
On Friday and Saturday, the art will be on display in the Westin's atrium or can be seen at www.artworkscincinnati.org/secret. For an additional $25, guests can buy a raffle ticket for a chance to be admitted 15 minutes early to choose two artworks. And for $1,500, a group of six can attend the event and choose 10 artworks.
