Shakespeare and alcohol are rarely spoken in the same sentence, unless you are quoting MacBeth. But never fear, fans of Bill and booze, because the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is putting those two things together to form an interesting marriage of theater and adult beverages. Friday at 6:30 p.m., the CSC wants to meet at 719 Race St. for the Shakes"beer" Pub Crawl: a night of fun, specialty drinks and the chance to win some marvelous prizes. Guests will enjoy different drinks at each of the five downtown bars including the likes of Black Finn and Mynt Martini. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 on the day of the event, and are good for one specialty drink or non-alcoholic beverage at each of the five locations, as well as raffle ticket for a chance to win a flat screen television, restaurant gift certificates or CSC tickets. So come, be merry and party like it’s 1592.
