Tastes like … fun? And fun tastes good! Celebrate the warm weather and Memorial Day Weekend at the 31st Annual Taste of Cincinnati, the longest-running culinary arts festival in the country.
It’s a three-day event, so there will be no reason not to have something to do this weekend. With more than 40 local restaurants picked by Taste, you’ll leave with a smile on your face and a little more “love” in your handles.
Local favorites include Montgomery Inn for their mouthwatering ribs, Bella Luna and Izzy’s. Sample from the 2009 “Best of Taste” award winners as well, such as their pick for “Best Damn Dish,” a Chicken Lettuce Wrap from Arloi Dee Thai Bistro & Sushi Bar.
And once you’ve eaten from every restaurant (because you will) walk on over to one of five stages for some live entertainment. The Swarth Band, Kristen Key, The Rusty Griswolds, Randy Houser and many more will be performing throughout the holiday weekend, highlighted by tributes to the late singer-songwriter Katie Reider. Taste of Cincinnati runs from noon-midnight on Saturday and Sunday and noon-9 p.m. Monday along Fifth Street from Race Street to Broadway Downtown.
