Events: Taste of Northern Cincinnati

The Taste of Northern will offer a somewhat different take on typical Tastes — it’s indoors and all-you-can-eat — and hopes to lure some nearby residents out of their hoods to sample 20 restaurants, including Jim Dandy BBQ, BJ’s Brewhouse, Edible Arrange

Some of us have little reason to visit the northern part of our fair city, largely due to the city of Forest Park’s pretty clear indication that we aren’t welcome (apparently lifetime banishment from Forest Fair Mall transfers to whatever new name it takes on). But being unwelcome in Bass Pro Shops won’t stop us from enjoying some of the finer foods of Cincinnati’s northern suburbs at the Taste of Northern Cincinnati on Sunday. The Taste of Northern will offer a somewhat different take on typical Tastes — it’s indoors and all-you-can-eat — and hopes to lure some nearby residents out of their hoods to sample 20 restaurants, including Jim Dandy BBQ, BJ’s Brewhouse, Edible Arrangements and Blue Goose Sports Cafe. It’s $15 per person ($5 under 10; free under 5), so come hungry, mix lots of foods together and then vote on some “Best Of” categories. Mylanta not provided. Noon-4 p.m. Sunday at Princeton High School.
