There aren’t many things that ooze class and sophistication like the combination of fish and fine wines and beers, but this isn’t Mitchell’s Fish Market we are talking about. The eighth annual Taste of the World Wine and Beer Festival, presented by The Party Source, is back this Saturday at Newport Aquarium to bring you a night of beautiful fish and exquisite sips. The drink selection will feature a selection of domestic and foreign wine, beers and specialty spirits including scotch and bourbon samplings. Between tastings, you can take in some of the aquarium’s captivating exhibits, or enjoy a variety of food prepared by top Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area restaurants. New this year is The Top Shelf, a limited-access area on the aquarium’s second floor featuring exclusive food, drink offerings, special seating and a breathtaking view of downtown Cincinnati, which is available for an admission price of $125. General admission is $95. All proceeds go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. 7:30-11 p.m. Saturday.
