This week offers an arts and crafts lover’s dreams come true at the sixth annual Original Creative Festival. The festival includes seminars, lectures and workshops taught by top industry teachers, free demonstrations and fashion shows, make-it and take-it stations, and plenty of shopping opportunities with an extensive list of vendors. From fabrics to sewing machines to miscellaneous crafts and scrapbooking supplies to specialty tools to digitizing software, the festival welcomes crafters of all sorts and of all ages. For all of you fashion designers, don’t miss couturier and fabric store owner Cynthia Guffey’s “Pants Fitting: From Start to Finished Pattern” class. There will be other design classes offered as well. The festival takes place Thursday-Saturday at the Sharonville Convention Center with pre-festival workshops beginning Wednesday. Don’t miss out! Vendor mall hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Admission and class tickets are available on-site: $7 at the door; $5 pre-registered. A 3-day special pass is $12 at the door and $10 pre-registered. Kids under 16 get in for free. Parking is free.
