During a time when issues of race and social justice are at the forefront of our lives, yet many feel at a loss for viable public spaces to conduct any real discourse, Chase Public has been programming inclusive events to foster these important conversations. Thursday evening, local spoken word and Hip Hop artist Lyrical Insurrection and Emotion Pictures present Hidden Colors 3: The Rules of Racism, the third installment of the critically acclaimed documentary series by New York Times’ bestseller Tariq Nasheed, which tackles the broad subject of racism in its many iterations throughout history. Visitors are encouraged to contribute to a vegan-friendly potluck before the screening and to participate in a discussion after the feature.

Potluck begins at 6 p.m.; film screening at 7 p.m. Bring a dish to share or $5 suggested donation. 1569 Chase Ave., #4, Northside, chasepublic.org.
