A college student named Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper) confronts a modern-day crisis of faith when his philosophy professor (Kevin Sorbo) challenges the notion that God exists. The story for the movie, conceived by Hunter Dennis, Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon (written by Konzelman and Solomon) sounds like an anecdote from an all-night bull session staged during the first year of college, and director Harold Cronk (Jerusalem Countdown) seems like a suitable choice to steer things through the murky philosophical minefield. Opens April 4 at Mariemont Theatre. (PG) Not screened in time for review
