Tonight and tomorrow, the hometown boys done good from The Greenhornes will appear on The Daily Habit, a show on extreme sports network Fuel TV (Time Warner users have the channel on a weird digital cable tier that most probably don't have; satellite dish owners will probably have better luck actually finding the network and tuning in). The show airs at 9:30 p.m. both night (Henry Rollins is also a guest on the show tomorrow night). Check the program's official site here in a few days to see if they post a clip of the performance.—-
The Greenhornes have stayed busy since their Third Man Records release, ****, hit stores last month. The album has received fairly universal acclaim from outlets like Rolling Stone and The Boston Globe and the band's international tour dates have been much anticipated and well attended. The group will close out 2010 and start off 2011 in a big way — opening for fellow Ohioans The Black Keys for two sold out shows at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
The AOL Spinner Web site has featured The Greenhornes a few times since word spread about the new release. The site also posted this cool video from the band's packed show at The Comet in Northside a few months ago (the ’Hornes' first gig anywhere in several years).
