Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency has put out a call for donations of personal protective equipment for the region's health care workers and first responders.

"The Southwest Ohio region’s healthcare professionals and first responders need your help to protect them as they work tirelessly to treat and fight the COVID-19 outbreak," the agency says.

They are specifically in need of:

  • N95 masks
  • Surgical masks
  • Disposable splash gowns
  • Exam gloves (preferable latex-free)

If you are a dentist's office, veterinarian, construction company or beauty salon/supply who has these items, call 513-263-8200 to get information about donation drop-off.

You should also call that number and donate if you happen to be a person who has purchased multiples of any of these for yourself.

Phone lines are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. If no one answers, leave a message with your name and contact info.
