The Force awakens at the main branch of the public library with a special Kenner Toys holiday exhibit. Kenner, founded in Cincinnati in 1947, designed and developed all the totally awesome ’80s and early-’90s figurines and toys for brands like Star Wars, Strawberry Shortcake, Batman, Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters, plus Play-Doh, Spirograph and Easy-Bake Oven. See toys, memorabilia and other ephemera in this and companion exhibit, Beloved Toys, which also features fun and nostalgic Kenner toy catalogs, Star Wars toy prototype images and other vintage marketing materials.
