Clichés like “That band tore the roof off the place!” or “That guitarist really tore up the stage!” probably never applied more than it did during Cheap Trick’s concert at an Ottawa Blues festival last night. As the band performed, the entire giant stage set-up literally collapsed before the audience’s eyes. Check out the shocking video from ABC News below. Amazingly, instead of becoming the most tragic event in concert history, the incident reportedly only resulted in one injury — a crew member broke a leg. —-
The fact that no one was more seriously injured means either God is a hardcore Trick fan … or she was pissed that a poppy Rock & Roll band was booked to play a “Blues” festival.
