Some people call them paranoid wackos and others are offended by their line of inquiry, but their supporters say they’re doing the type of probing and questioning that’s essential for a functioning democracy. The organization, Cincinnati For 9/11 Truth, will sponsor a lecture by San Francisco architect Richard Gage, who believes questions arising from the World Trade Center’s collapse on Sept. 11, 2001, suggest the destruction was part of a conspiracy involving controlled demolition, possibly by the U.S. government. Gage, who has more than 20 years of experience in the architectural field, is the founder of Architects and Engineers For 9/11 Truth. He will present information questioning the official government theory of the events of Sept. 11 in New York and at the Pentagon, and is asking for a new investigation of the incidents. The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in the Zimmer Auditorium on the University of Cincinnati campus, and will be followed by a question and answer session. $5.
