It’s a big weekend at InkTank as the literary mainstay explores the American Dream with a 7:30 p.m. Final Friday reading by Larry Smith of Cleveland-based Bottom Dog Press, along with local Bottom Dog poets, and two simultaneous writers’ workshops from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Smith, a former steel mill worker, is the author of numerous books including translations from the Chinese. Terry Hermsen and Jeff Gundy, both established writers and teachers, lead the workshops. Ink Tank’s American Dream project, inspired by the election of Barack Obama, is supported by a grant from the Fine Arts Fund. Friday admission is $5 (free to InkTank members); workshop entry is $10 or $30 including InkTank membership.
