Each “Simon’s Cat” video (an animated online cartoon series about a fat, funny cat) is like catnip for those who own and are owned by felines.

The YouTube sensation has drawn more than 420 million views in five years. Now, the often-mischievous, constantly hungry and always adorable character is starring in a new book, Simon’s Cat vs. the World. Expect British animator Simon Tofield to discuss the adventures of his four real-life cats during a signing at Joseph-Beth Booksellers.
