Need those Levi's like, right now? Can't wait a couple of days for those bed sheets? You may have a new option soon.

Cincinnati-based retail giant Macy's will take on Amazon with its own free, same-day delivery service. And it's coming to the Queen City first.

Cincinnati will be one of 30 cities where Macy's will test out the pilot program starting Oct. 1. Customers must spend at least $75 and order qualifying merchandise before noon Monday through Saturday or before 10 a.m. on Sunday. If you order after those times, you'll get your merchandise the next day. It isn't clear when the pilot will end, but after the test period the service will cost $8.

Macy's tried a smaller same-day delivery pilot program in 2014 in five markets. This one will be bigger, better advertised and offer more qualifying products, company officials say.

Other cities in which the pilot program will take place include Atlanta, Austin, Texas, Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, Denver, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York City, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Tampa and Washington, D.C.
