Uh oh, the owners of buildings adjacent to Piatt Park are angry and they're not going to take it anymore. They reportedly met with city officials yesterday led by Arn Bortz, former mayor and Towne Properties partner/Councilman Chris Bortz's super-rich uncle, to ask that they be removed. Bortz also accused protesters of defecating in the park and abusing people walking through, both well-known annoyances for neo-fascists. —-

Billionaire Carl Lindner died yesterday at 92. No word yet on whether or not United Dairy Farmers will now respect the public health concerns of the 1980s and start carrying condoms. Here's a glowing account of Lindner's life The Enquirer probably had on file for about 10 years.

Somebody stole a truck containing President Obama's teleprompter and podium from a Virginia hotel yesterday. The truck was reportedly recovered. No word on the presidential seals, though. The Defense Information System Agency says there was no sensitive information in the truck, just some of Barack's notes about jobs.

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are working on scaled-back pieces of the $447 billion jobs bill that Republicans crushed last week.

The new measure is a $35 billion aid package to state and local governments to help them avoid layoffs of teachers, police officers and firefighters. It’s virtually certain to be blocked by Republicans opposed to spending money to boost the economy.

The Occupy Wall street movement has found support among some European leaders, one of whom reportedly said, "The young people have a right to be furious."

But who's scared of Wall Street protesters in America? Bank of America, which just raked in $6.2 billion?

Heroes star Zachary Quinto, who came out as a gay man this week, says he is grateful for the support he's received. Quinto was partially motivated to come out after hearing about a gay New York teen who committed suicide after years of bullying.
