The Mad Hatter transforms into an electronic haven Monday as a lineup of local and national Indie groups wire in and arm up with some seriously groovy weapons. Hailing originally from St. Louis, Bear (the Ghost) features alternating members centered around Robby Ritter, who produces a crafty blend of synthesizers, guitars and quirkily angelic vocals taking an analog bubblebath. Matched up with some video projections, Bear (the Ghost)'s music takes you on an experimental but accessible trip that is sure to make your brain dance and most likely the rest of your body as well. Joining Ritter for the evening is drummer Sam Cowen of Sacred Spirits. The two follow local indie Rock crew The Never Setting Suns, which kicks off the night around 9 p.m. Dance-Pop heroes Reptar (Athens, Ga.) and local Digital Disco superpower Future Trends will keep the booties shaking 'til the sun rises. Or 'til the bar closes. Come equipped with your dancing pants, robot ears and $7 for admission. Doors open at 8 p.m.
