Heralded as the “hottest artist on the classical music planet,” Lang Lang heads to Music Hall for the gala opening performance of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s 120th season. Louis Langree will direct as Lang Lang and the symphony play an all-Beethoven show: Piano Concerto No. 1, “Egmont Overture” and Symphony No. 7. The night kicks off with a gala at 5:30 p.m., featuring cocktails, dinner and a live performance from Grammy-winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari ($175-$275). An afterparty will follow in the ballroom at 10 p.m.
