Northside rocks Fourth of July weekend with its annual Rock n’ Roll Carnival, featuring free live music, side-show acts like fire-breathers and sword-swallowers, tons of food and a lot of local beer. This year’s music lineup includes: Ohio Knife, The Harlequins, Jeremy Pinnell and the 55s, plus headliners Wussy on Thursday; Comet Bluegrass All-Stars, R.Ring (The Breeders’ Kelley Deal and Ampline’s Mike Montgomery) and headliners Saintseneca from Columbus on Friday; and DAAP Girls, Baltimore’s Wild Honey, Chicago’s Flesh Panthers, and headliners Those Darlins on Saturday.
